You have the option of going with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder engine referred to as the e-Torque. Smaller than the Pentastar V6, the e-Torque is consequently more fuel-efficient, and this is further enforced by its ability to store energy while the Wrangler is braking and then releases it upon acceleration—thanks to the addition of a small battery.
