What are the Differences Between 2019 RAM 1500 & 2018 Ford F-150?
Serving Cincinnati, OH, Fort Thomas, KY, and Lawrenceburg, IN
The 2019 RAM 1500 and 2018 Ford F-150 are light-duty pickup trucks that are available with several cabin configurations. Under the hood, the RAM 1500 has several all-new features, such as the eTorque technology. A 12.0-inch infotainment system is another innovative feature that's available in this updated model.
Performance
RAM has made some major upgrades to its traditional engine blocks that have powered the 1500 model in previous years. The all-new eTorque technology is integrated into the 3.6 L Pentastar V6 engine, which is rated at 305 horsepower and just under 270 pound-feet. In the 5.7 L HEMI V8 engine, the eTorque module includes a mild hybrid design for optimum efficiency. You'll get 395 hp and 410 lb-ft from this updated eight-cylinder engine, which supports a maximum towing load of 12,500 pounds. You simply won't find any comparable fuel-saving technology under the hood of the 2018 Ford F-150. Using the EcoBoost and Ti-VCT mechanisms, the F-150's engines haven't been designed with optimum fuel efficiency as a top priority. Nevertheless, you have to give Ford credit for integrating the diesel PowerStroke engine into the lineup. Despite some success in previous years, RAM has decided to drop a diesel-powered engine from the 2019 1500 model.

Handling
The 2019 RAM 1500 is available with the Four Corner Air Suspension System that's managed by the Active Level technology. This dynamic suspension adjusts the ground clearance in response to a change in terrains and other environmental factors. When fitted with the 33-inch Wrangler DuraTrac tires, this RAM pickup truck is ready to roll on dirt, mud, gravel and sand. These all-season tires work well with the 4x4 drive system that's compatible with an electronic locking rear differential, which carries the ELocker label. A transfer case also supports the shift-on-the-fly mechanism for the distribution of torque in the axles. An eight-speed automatic transmission system is standard in the 2019 RAM 1500. Thanks to the TorqueFlite technology, you'll easily change gears on demand. Most of the Ford F-150 models have a 10-speed automatic transmission and 4x4 drive.

Digital Technology
Having all-new status, the Uconnect 4C NAV is available with a 12.0-inch display in the 2019 RAM 1500. As in previous years, an 8.4-inch touch screen is also available in this premium pickup truck. By contrast, an 8.0-inch display is the largest infotainment system that's available in the 2018 Ford F-150. The SiriusXM 360L gives you more entertainment options that ever before in the RAM 1500. You also have access to SiriusXM Traffic Plus, which supplements the guidance that's provided by the GPS navigation software. Thanks to the Active Noise Cancellation, you won't be bothered by exterior noise while listening to music inside this RAM truck. This innovative technology provides a maximum acoustic reduction of approximately 58 decibels.
Jeff Wyler CDJR is ready to show you all of the great features of the 2019 RAM 1500. You'll agree that this RAM pickup truck beats the 2018 Ford F-150 in performance, handling and digital technology.
