Differences Between 2019 Jeep Cherokee Latitude & 2019 Jeep Cherokee Limited
Serving Cincinnati, OH, Fort Thomas, KY, and Lawrenceburg, IN
The 2019 Jeep Cherokee Latitude and Limited are Trail Rated Sport Utility Vehicles. Both of these durable models are available with signature mechanical features, like the Tigershark engine and Active Drive 4x4 system. Featuring responsive touch screens, the infotainment systems in these SUVs run on the latest Uconnect 4 technology.
Off-Road Features
The Active Drive I 4x4 system is standard in the 2019 Cherokee Latitude and Limited. Depending on the demand for traction, this drivetrain automatically engages or disengages the rear axle. You can also get the Active Drive II 4x4 system for the Limited edition. This upgraded drivetrain includes the Neutral Mode that's optimized for low gear ratios. When navigating rough landscapes, you should use the Selec-Terrain Traction Management for extra leverage. For example, the Sand/Mud Mode reduces slight sinking of the wheels on relatively soft surfaces. The Sport Mode instantly prepares the powertrain for explosive acceleration on the highway. Both Jeep SUVs include the Hill Start Assist, which guarantees a safe transition between gear shifts on an inclined road.

Powertrain
Based on the classic Tigershark platform, a 2.4 L engine is standard in the 2019 Cherokee Latitude and Limited. This naturally aspirated, four-cylinder engine block also runs on the MultiAir 2 technology. You get up to 180 horsepower and 171 pound-feet of torque from this I-4 powertrain that comes with an automatic stop/start system. If you need more output, then select the 3.2 L Pentastar V6 engine. You could extract up to 271 hp and 239 lb-ft of torque from this six-cylinder powertrain. Additionally, the Limited edition is available with an all-new turbocharged engine that has a displacement of 2.0 L. Rated at 270 hp and 295 lb-ft, this compact turbo engine delivers class-leading performance. Both Jeep models come standard with an automatic transmission system that includes nine total gear speeds and the signature Autostick function. A 180-amp alternator with a heavy-duty design is also optional in the Limited trim.

Technology
The Uconnect 4 infotainment system is installed in the 2019 Cherokee Latitude and Limited. An 7.0-inch touch screen is standard in the Latitude, and an 8.4-inch is set up in the Limited. Both Jeep SUVs are compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Bluetooth. If you want the latest GPS navigation technology in the Limited, then choose the Uconnect 4C NAV system. SiriusXM Guardian, Traffic and Travel Link are accessible in this premium multimedia console. Both vehicles have SiriusXM Satellite Radio, and the Limited is available with HD Radio. This trim could be equipped with an optional sound system by Alpine. The signature audio system includes nine speakers that generate just more than 500 acoustic watts. A powerful subwoofer is also included in the high-end Alpine sound system.
